Job Opportunity; Drama Assistant

Rhubarb Speech and Drama School are looking for a Drama Assistant to help with our Seedlings class (Reception-Y2) on Saturday mornings (term time) between 8:30-9:45.

Rhubarb is a Speech and Drama School (based in Portishead Primary School, Bristol) where everyone’s voices matter and all creative ideas are nurtured, valued, and heard.

We have a thriving Saturday School for children aged 4-18yrs. Our school has a focus on both confidence and skill building. Our classes have been carefully structured to build and develop skills in drama, theatre making and performance in a fun, creative and nurturing environment.

Our Seedlings class (Reception-Y2) is a high energy, highly creative and fun group. Each term we have a new theme which we explore each week through drama activities, skill builders, games, and craft, which normally results in a small end of term sharing/show for parents.

Rhubarb could not do the work we do each week without the support of our brilliant drama assistants. Rhubarb’s staff are a small but dedicated team with many years’ experience of working within the industry. We are looking for a hardworking and passionate individual to become part of the team.
